Valentine Gifts for Baby

If you are looking  for a quick gift for your baby for Valentine's Day, tomorrow, I have just the thing.  I like themed gifts, so Valentine's Day is super fun!

I made Baby 2 heart toys.  One is crinkly and one is jingly.

I'm sorry I didn't take pictures while I was making these.  You will have to access your imagination and we will do our best, here.  They are pretty simple.

Supplies:

• 2 sheets of felt (one for each heart)
• Fiberfill
• Bells (the more bells the more jingly the heart)
• Something crinkly (I used a cellophane bag from a Chik Fil-A kids meal book)

Crinkly Heart

Steps

1. Cut 2 hearts out of the felt set aside for the crinkly heart.  You want these hearts to be the same, so you will probably have to match them up and trim them to be the same.
2. Cut a smaller heart out of your crinkly stuff.
3. Sandwich the crinkly stuff inside the 2 hearts.
4. Sew around the edge of the hearts and you are done!

Jingly Heart

Steps

1. Cut 2 hearts out of the felt set aside for the jingly heart.  Like before, you want these hearts to be the same, so you will probably have to match them up and trim them to be the same.
2. Lay the hearts together (back to back).
3. Sew around the edge of the hearts leaving and inch or two open.
4. Stuff with fiberfill
5. Jam bells into the fiberfill.  I put like 6 in random places inside the heart to make it jingle all over.
6. Sew up the hole and you are done!

Now give them to your little one and let them play!
